Hardwood floor refinish for Debbie

October 31, 2009

Debbie is managing this property for a friend. The floor had been covered with carpet for some years. This was probably due to the water stains on the floor. The owners were considering a pergo type floor to cover the existing hardwood. After discussing the options, they decided that refinishing the existing floor would give them a better product in the end.

The first thing that needed to be done was to sand the old finish off, as well as most of the stains.

These floors were in pretty rough shape to start with, but sanding cleaned them up nicely.
